In this message, we explore the Holy Spirit through the biblical picture of ruach — breath, wind and Spirit. From creation and Ezekiel's vision of the dry bones, to Jesus breathing the Holy Spirit onto his disciples and the outpouring of the Spirit at Pentecost, we see how God's Spirit brings life, restores what is broken and empowers us to speak words that bring encouragement and life to others.
As we continue our “Come Holy Spirit” series, we're reminded that the Holy Spirit is actively at work — drawing us into relationship with God, reminding us of Jesus' words, guiding us into truth and bringing transformation to our lives and the lives of those around us.

In Week 2 of our Come Holy Spirit series, we explore what it means to be people who are “tabernacled” by the presence of God. From the Spirit hovering over creation, to God's presence dwelling in the tabernacle, to Jesus becoming the living temple, we discover how the Holy Spirit now lives in ordinary followers of Jesus.
The Holy Spirit isn't an optional extra or something reserved for a few “super-spiritual” Christians. We are invited to know Him, be filled by Him and carry the presence of God into our everyday lives. As we look at the balance between God's Word and God's Spirit, we're encouraged to open our hearts, let go of fear and become increasingly aware of God's presence with us.

In this opening message of our Come Holy Spirit series, we explore who the Holy Spirit is, His role throughout Scripture, and why relationship with the Holy Spirit is such an important part of the Vineyard.
Whether you're thirsty for more, suspicious because of past experiences, or simply uninformed about the Holy Spirit, we're invited to come on the journey together. Through Scripture, personal stories and the story of the Vineyard, we discover that the Holy Spirit doesn't simply give us something to believe in — He empowers us to live out the mission of Jesus, brings comfort and freedom, and draws us into deeper relationship with Him.

What happens when we pray? In this message, Chantel explores the powerful words, “Where stood a wall, now stands a way,” and challenges us to move beyond simply singing about breakthrough to actively praying and contending for it.
Through personal stories and testimonies from Sharon, Bronwen and Hugh, we’re encouraged to pray specifically for our families, our global neighbours and our local communities. We’re reminded that God’s promises are secure in Christ, that our prayers can go where our feet cannot, and that God invites ordinary people to partner with Him in seeing His kingdom come.
This is a call to wake up, take our place in the battle, and become a people who pray.

What will people remember about your life? As we reach the final Hero of the Faith in this series, we look at Abraham — a man remembered not for his wealth, influence or achievements, but simply for his faith.
Abraham trusted God's promises even when he couldn't see how they would be fulfilled. His journey teaches us that faith means stepping out in obedience, persevering through delay and uncertainty, and trusting God when we don't have the whole picture.
This message challenges us to consider where God is asking us to take our next step, what we are holding too tightly, and what we are planting today that could outlive us. Like Abraham, we may not see the whole road ahead, but we can know the One who walks with us.

In this message from our Heroes of the Faith series, we look at the life of Matthew — a tax collector who was despised by his own people, yet personally invited by Jesus to “follow me.”
Matthew’s story reminds us that no one is beyond the reach of God’s grace. His encounter with Jesus transformed his life, his relationships and ultimately his purpose. The very skills Matthew had developed as a tax collector were later used to write one of the four Gospels and leave a lasting legacy.
As we explore Matthew’s story, we’re challenged to consider who Jesus might be asking us to reach, how we can use the gifts God has given us, and perhaps most importantly: What legacy are we going to leave behind?

What does it look like to live faithfully when the world around us is going in a completely different direction? In this message, we look at Noah and discover five lessons from his faith: believing God when no one else does, obeying before seeing the evidence, persevering through decades of ordinary faithfulness, recognising the influence our faith can have on those around us, and ultimately seeing how Noah’s story points us towards Jesus and God’s provision for salvation.
Noah reminds us that faith isn’t simply believing certain truths — it’s living as though God’s promises are certain, even before we see them fulfilled.
